The second annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Armature Works will take place Saturday, November 30, from 6pm- 8pm, on the Armature Works South Lawn. Last year’s tree lighting event drew over 5,000 people. This year Mayor Jane Castor, in her first year as Mayor of the City of Tampa, will help kick off the Holiday season by welcoming the crowd and lighting the tree.
The event begins at 6pm with family friendly activities, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live music and an exclusive holiday performance by Opera Tampa. Seasonal drinks will be available for purchase along with food from any of the many restaurant partners within Heights Public Market. Please note that outside food, beverage and coolers are prohibited.
WDUV 105.5 The Dove’s Ann Kelly will introduce and welcome Mayor Jane Castor who will light the ceremonial tree at 7pm. The tree lightning will be immediately followed by a holiday caroling performance by the Tampa Opera.
“I’m excited to begin this holiday season by lighting the tree at Armature Works,” commented Mayor Jane Castor. “This is my most favorite time of year and I look forward to seeing so many people from the surrounding communities come together for this fantastic event.”
We look forward to welcoming the Holiday season with you and to spreading joy all month long at Armature Works.
