Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc. (CHCP), is a not-for-profit organization that has been providing affordable, quality, comprehensive healthcare services to the Pinellas community for 40 years. NFL players Louis Murphy, Jr., Isaiah Rodgers, Damontre Moore, Justin Layne, and Jason Moore, along with former World Middleweight Boxing Champion Winky Wright and Carl Brown, one of the founders of For Us By Us (FUBU) have partnered with the Community Health Centers of Pinellas Foundation in the CHCP Super Healthcare Heroes Virtual 5K. The CHCP Super Healthcare Heroes Virtual 5K is a real 5K event, but it is on your own terms. You choose your own course, what time you start, and the method in which you would like to walk, run, or simply move your body.

The Super Healthcare Heroes Virtual 5K charity event will raise money for the Community Health Centers of Pinellas Foundation to provide healthcare and wellness programs to underserved communities. These services are essential to create a healthy community, especially during this unprecedent time when people need to take better care of their health. A portion of the proceeds from each team will support the foundations of the Celebrity Team Captains that develop, inspire, and empower our young people in the community.

The CHCP Super Healthcare Heroes Virtual 5K kicks off today and will run through March 31st. Since it is virtual, anyone from around the country can register to participate and join his/her favorite celebrity team and show support to our healthcare heroes.
