Hyundai of New Port Richey is Partnering with Metropolitan Ministries for a Food Drive on Saturday October 24th, 11am to 3pm.
Metropolitan Ministries will be on hand at Hyundai of New Port Richey to collect donations of food and other items for people in need.
New Port Richey, FL., October 7, 2020 – Even though our state is now open, many people are still struggling with uncertainty. The current pandemic has caused thousands of workers to lose their jobs and becomedisplaced. Many people in the community who have never needed help before, suddenly find themselves in need of the basics and can no longer afford to put food on the table.
To support the community and help those in need as we move into the holidays, a tent will be set up at Hyundai of New Port Richey, located at 3936 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey FL. Metropolitan Ministries representatives will be on hand from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, October 24th to collect donations of food, such as cereal, yams, soup, canned meats, canned vegetables & fruits, rice, pasta, canned or boxed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and dessert mixes. Additional items needed include gift cards and teen boy & girl Christmas gifts.
All CDC guidelines for safety and social distancing will be observed during this Food Drive.
Cash donations will also be accepted. Food pantries often get more for their dollars and can address shortages with extra financial assistance.
Hyundai of New Port Richey is the #1 Volume Hyundai Dealership in the entire country and gives back to the community by supporting numerous charities every year. Metropolitan Ministries provides 75,000 meals every month in the Tampa Bay area for those in need, and they have an Outreach Center in Pasco County.
Your donations will make a difference in the life of someone in need!
